Purpose
To provide
for the prompt delivery of business-related mail, by curtailing
the use of the University mail system for personal use.
Applicability
This policy applies
to all employees, regardless of employment category.
General
Provisions
The University's mail
system is designed to handle University business mail. Employee's
should make provisions for personal mail to be delivered to their
residence or U.S. Postal Service address. Mail processed through the University's
mail system is subject to inspection and delays. The University
is not responsible for lost or damaged mail of a personal nature.
