GENERAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
OUTSIDE EMPLOYMENT
EFFECTIVE DATE: APRIL 23, 1996
Section III - No. 14.00


Purpose

To define the terms and conditions under which employees may be employed in paid positions outside of the University.

Applicability

This policy applies to all regular and temporary full-time employees.

General Provisions

It is the position of the University that high standards of performance demand full concentration, undivided loyalty and dedicated efforts. No employee may engage in any paid employment in addition to his or her employment with the University which interferes with efficient performance of his or her duties and/or which presents a conflict of interests.
