ASSIGNMENT:
Under general
supervision, the successful candidate will perform difficult
skilled work in three or more trades (e.g., carpentry, electrical,
masonry, mechanics, painting, plumbing, or welding). Candidate
will perform major projects to construct, renovate, or maintain
University buildings, and/or repair and maintain University
vehicles and equipment; will often direct activities of 1-3
maintenance workers and/or trades workers; and will perform other
related duties as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Graduate,
GED.

Completion of approved trades
apprenticeship program;
-
Must have at least three years
of trade experience in auto mechanic;

Must have a valid driver’s
license with the ability to operate both automatic and manual
transmissions.
COMPENSATION:
$14.70 to
$18.65 ph. Benefits include a retirement plan and a comprehensive
group medical, dental, and life insurance program.
