DEPARTMENT:         Associate Campus Administrator for Operations

ASSIGNMENT:          The successful candidate will operate passenger buses, shuttles, vans and handicapped equipped vehicles on campus routes as assigned.  The candidate will also perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections; provide courteous and professional customer service to the University community; communicate transportation policies and procedures to customers; and perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

& REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma, or GED and at least two (2) years of driving experience;

• Possess a Class E License;

• Basic knowledge of automotive mechanical systems;

• Ability to operate a variety of passenger vehicles including operation of vehicles equipped with hydraulic wheel chair lift;

• Good oral and written communication, planning and organizational skills;

• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service oriented;

• Clean Police Report

COMPENSATION:    The salary range for this position is $10.75 - $12.11 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
