The University of the Virgin Islands is a Historically Black publicly supported land-grant institution. In addition, academic programs support our land grant designation by integrating instruction with research and community service. Appointees must be able to work productively with students and colleagues of diverse backgrounds.

The Business Administration Division is seeking candidates who will teach a minimum of 24 hours per academic year at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the following position:

Assistant or Associate Professor of Marketing: Preference will be given to applicants that possess a Ph.D. in Marketing.  Practical experience in the discipline and demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college level, as well as the ability to work with people of diverse cultural and educational backgrounds are essential.  Evidence of research and scholarly activities is expected.  Other duties include University and division committee assignments, and student advisement.

Employment is scheduled to begin on August 13, 2008.

 Rank and compensation will be based on academic preparation, teaching and practical experience. Benefits include a generous TIAA-CREF or Virgin Islands Government Retirement Plan, as well as a comprehensive group medical and dental insurance plan.
